Twelve Chairs Boston

I recently came across this wonderful place called Twelve Chairs in the Fort Point Area near South Station in Boston. I walked into their shop and design studio while strolling through open studios.  I am so glad I did. First of all, their location is to die for, but even more, they have the most beautiful space I have seen. Lofts kill me softly. Anyhow, we got to talking and next thing I knew, Miggy and Roisin (both wonderful, young, entrepreneurial creative souls) asked me if I wanted to do an installation in their space. I jumped frantically at the opportunity, and couldn’t be more excited about it. There will also be a show with the work of the talented Kate Castelli. Hundreds of chairs, oh my!

Stop by their shop. Do it. It’s lovely. If you need an excuse, come by on the evening of  December 9th. In their words:

Our halls are decked and now we want you to rock around our Christmas tree! Mark your calendars for the Twelve Chairs Holiday Soiree. Join us on December 9th from 6 to 9pm for art, music, wine, and shopping!

>Glovebox’s latest art show, Chairs, featuring the work of local artist Kate Castelli.
>New work by local installation artist Christina Watka.
>Live jazz by Andrew Halchak and band.”

Here is a glimpse of their space from the few research shots I took.
